BEAUTIFUL reminder...

Sunday was definitely one of the highlights of my LIFE. In the morning, we went to church at 8:30, then had an early lunch. Then some of us decided to drive an hour/hour and a half to Mt.Taylor. Our group was Professor S, Andrea, Ben, and me. When we got there, I REALLY had to go to the bathroom. Let's just say I had an experience in nature I hope to never have to resort to again. Good thing I had kleenex :-D We began our 5 mile hike at around 9,300'. (Gallup is at 6,500')(Grand Rapids is at 640' :-D) It was a BEAUTIFUL day. Blue skies...65ish degrees...wind...crisp mountain air. Thankfully Sarah let me borrow her hat! Here are some pictures (and a movie?!) of how beautiful it was!

Ok for this one--the line in the middle is the trail. Half way up the trail you'll see a spot of white. THAT is my group :) I quick climbed a huge rock to take this picture. Neat, huh?



I MADE IT! elevation of 11,900 feet!


We signed a book at the top signifying we were there :)


Now lets try some movies! About half way through this one, you can hear my professor tell me to put my camera on "movie"...then he says hi, as does andrea, and ben says "Really? Hey you! Wassup?!" :-) Goofball.




I tried putting other movies up, like scenery ones, but it wouldn't upload. Next time!! Until then...
